Statutory Objective

The statutory objective is defined in the bylaws of LOST:

Article 3, First Paragraph of the Articles of Association

The purpose of the association is to ensure a national collaborative parnership for student associations in the Netherlands that focus on the performance arts. By doing so, LOST forms a community of students with a passion for the performance arts; and so they can inspire, strengthen and enrich oneanother.

Mission

Student theatre  forms an important contribution to the general formation of students and the cultural landscape of The Netherlands. LOST is a collaborative partners hip between various student theatre organisations. As such, LOST actively contributes to the cultural offerings in the Netherlands and facilitates the sustainable development of student theatre community and a vibrant association life.

Vision

LOST is the Dutch coordinating body for student theatre organisations, uniting knowledge and expertise. By enabling collaboration at a national level, LOST strengthens local student theatre. LOST actively partners with cultural organisations to bolster the broader theatre and cultural sector.

Remuneration Policy

Board members currently do not receive remuneration for their activities. This also means no travel reimbursement. Board members pay the same fees as participants when they attend activities.
